Ha, Yes. Renault Dauphine. In the late 50's and early 60's, Renault was a big player in the US. Dealerships all over the country. A real competitor to the VW Beetle that was just starting to make headway here. They were even a mojor sponsor of the Winter Olympic Games on TV. Good friend of mine in HS had one. Good snow car; our ski car. Finally it's poor reliability got the best of it... they were gone from the US several years later. Came back much later as part of American Motors.
I thought it was a Dauphine, but I wasn't quite confident enough to include that! Looks like fun! Probably a big improvement over the original, to be honest.

Not exactly a "killing" when considering the restoration, 30 years of storage / keeping it running. The '70 AAR Cuda that I sold for $7500 to buy my first F-car (348tb) was the one I wish I still had!
