    Hi Arvid
    I understand and love my Potenziata, mint and completely original with 81000 km. I am also fond of the car next to it of course.

    David, it as easy car to love once you drive it. Then it's glued to your brain for a while... Remember I got plenty of head shaking for its boxy design. Who cares :)

    Four door. I also have a rare spyder version. Only 122 spiders made. It needs a lot of clean up work

    So, as a divorce present to myself, I decided to add to the stable one of my other dream cars, except this one was just plain U-G-L-Y... Nonetheless, a few folks out there thought it too would be a heck of a cool, bit*hin' car if sorted, although I actually bought it before realizing these articles had already been posted on the same exact car!

    Yes folks, its another 1985 Italian car that I own which also has an American drivetrain connected to a factory supplied American transmission - by way of a Chrysler 7.2 L 440 monster engine mated to a Chrysler Torqueflite tranny!

    Mopar-powered Maserati Quattroporte is the anti-TC | Autoweek

    Mopar-Powered 1985 Maserati Quattroporte | Bring a Trailer

    The plan is to make it better than new, draping it with a Ferrari Blu Sera color change and also replacing the diminutive and ugly 15 inchers. I bought Lamborghini Jalpa wheels for the car but got conned in that they were simply never going to fit (do an eBay search for them). Then, for a while I was debating whether to go with Lancia Stratos wheels from Image UK, who did my 400i wheels, but instead opted to have 17' De Tomaso Mangusta wheels custom made and this Q III should be the first one in the world like it. I have bought a Jaeger clock to replace the digital OEM one, a new Nardi wheel, as well as some other cool touches. It will be a while before its done, but work has begun!

    Those SMs always remind me of this;

    Pretty cars that I've been tempted to own.

    Requiring was my big expense. A lot of shop time. The driving experience was a surprise. Rides very smooth. Stable. Quick NOT FAST. Comfy. Parts. Easy to come by.
