    My 1995 F355 seems to take a few tries to start. It turns over, but by the second or third try it gets some gas and starts. Then between say 1,000 to 3,000 rpms can seem a little off. Sputters if I am at 3,000 rpm and not on the gas hard. Above 3,000 rpms no problems. It's had the major service, we've swamped out the ecu's with another F355, etc, etc. Now the question is could it be faulty fuel injectors. Not sure if anyone has had any experience with how a faulty fuel injector affects the car. Not really wanting to buy new injectors to find out that was not the issue.

    Send them out to be cleaned and tested.

    If they are bad then replace.

    check ignition wires
    check fuel pressure...

    i am going to say not injectors... i never have seen any do what you said.
    swap out air flow meter ... to test

    Check for metal shavings on crank position sensors. Typical symptom.

    Definitely check wires, plugs and fuel pressure. It's not easy getting to the injectors so leave them for last. I had a fuel pressure problem and just pulled my pumps out to address the bad rubber in the tank problem that happens with these things. Good luck.
