I was surprised and amazed by new SF90 !!! Can somebody explain to me the positioning in the Ferrari model line ? Is it a replacement of LaFerrari ?? They say they will produce around 2000 units... Price estimate ?? Thanks !!
No pricing yet and rumors are all over the place. It’s safe to assume at least 500k usd. The SF90 is the halo car so the top model right now. The LaF was a limited series and not considered a regular production car where the SF90 is.
Not really. It is just the top of the line normal production model. The halo car will be the next LaFerrari.
So the current Halo car in the lineup is a future model that isn’t announced?? Right now with the current lineup this is their halo car. When the LaFerrari replacement comes out that may be the halo car unless they make something even more extreme. I understood the question to be asking where this model fits with the current lineup. Maybe it’s just semantics.

Lambo has owned this space with the Aventador....Assume the SF will be more than what the top level Avs are selling for. Lambo sold 1200 Aventadors last year...average price had to be near $600k. Why would Ferrari price lower? They won't.
F8 becomes 'LB' in a couple of years Normal mass production BB (SF90 Stradale) Normal mass production next 4 years? La Ferrari becomes Icona within a couple of years. Limited Series.
I was thinking the same until you find that standard Aventador (not the limted edition SVJ) is really priced more like an 812., (about 10% over) at $400k base / $475k with options. I think SF90 seems closer to $700k with options. While I doubt the new car overlaps much with 812 sales, if they make 1000-1500 per year, second hand prices won't be pretty at all.
Icona Series and the Halo Car are different things serving different purposes. I don’t see them merging.
