The first ever Ferrari Poseur Run will be held on Sunday 2nd October 2005

    WHAT IS IT?
A cruise around central London, visiting various tourist spots such as Trafager Square, Downing Street, Piccadilly, Kings Road, Soho etc.

    WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE
To have a good laugh and create London's first ever Ferrai traffic jam. Make sure you bring your cameras. :D

    HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
The Poseur run is free to attend. However, you may need to pay for the parking at the SandersonHotel and your share of food/drink consumed.

    WHO CAN COME?
All Ferrari owners welcome. Any fchatters without the use of a Ferrari are also wecome to join the run (sorry, but at the back of the convoy :D) and the after run refereshments. People who also confirmed attendance before the poll was set up and do not have a Ferrari but a sports car are also welcome.

    AFTER RUN REFRESHMENTS
What better place to meet up afterwards than at the swanky Poseurs hang out, the Sanderson Hotel. Secure undeground parking is available. More details below.

    *************** IMPORTANT *****************

Please PM me to confirm if you are attending the after run refereshments at the Sanderson as we'll need to book the tables in the garden and the reserved parking.

If we don't book, there's no guarantee of getting parking or tables

Deadline is sunday 25th September to book tables and parking.

    *******************************************

    PROVISIONAL TIMETABLE

11:00 am - Meet up (Location to be confirmed a week in advance)

11:30 am - Start of the Poseur Run

12:45 pm - Reconvene at Meeting point

01:00 pm - Drinks & Lunch at the Sanderson Hotel

For security, full details including the start location and route map will be emailed to all drivers 1 week in advance.

    RULES & REGULATIONS

    1. All entrants will be referred to as "Poseurs".
    2. All Poseurs are to drive in a proper manner befitting a Ferrari.
    3. The Poseur Run is NOT a race, so no high speed driving please! The public can't see you if you drive too fast!
    4. When encountering roundabouts, a Poseur must circle it twice for maximum poseurbility.
    5. When entering tunnels with a tubi, maximum revs are suggested, without breaking the speed limit. :D

    ORGANISERS

    Angelis
    Dem

    WAIVER
We originally thought only 3 or 4 people would turn up so having 25+ people interested was a bit of a shock. So please bear in mind that we don't know what we are doing and it might end up as a great day or a complete balls up with people getting lost. However, we'll try and make sure everyone has a good laugh....... even if it's at our expense. :D

    WHAT TO DO NEXT

Please PM me with the following information:

    1. Your email address to where we can send the event details.
    2. Your real first name.

And if you are attending the post run refereshments:

    3. Number of people to attend the Sanderson
    4. Vehicle registration number (if you require reserved parking).

If you have any questions, please PM or post below. Please do not post any crap or hijack this thread as the mods will remove any such posts.

You can continue fun talk here http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=74825

    Thanks

Is this Ferrari (i.e. 348!) friendly. I don't get on very well with underground carparks!

They have lots of Ferrai's parked there.

However, I'll be taking mine there next sunday to test the ground clearance. My 348 has been lowered 1" at the front. So if that can get in, any Ferrari can.

    Angela,

Due to your aversion for a run through da hood (South London), I've minimised it on the route.

You have E-mail with the latest itinerary...........
