My dealer, one of the largest in the U.S., had a PF-M in his showroom this wknd. Not a demo car but a car for viewing only. Champagne, hors douvres, etc. I placed my order Sept of 2019. I was told this wknd, delivery now 1st qtr of 2022. A delay of 6-9 months longer than originally anticipated. No allocations have been made yet to U.S. dealers nor have they been able to order their demo cars. Yes we have covid but wow. What a wait. Sent from my Pixel 5 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Appreciate the update. We saw a demo Portofino M at our dealer back in March and put an order in two weeks later. I haven't checked in lately to ask about production, but will assume I have the same delays. Any explanations on what is slowing things down? Thanks, Rob
Seems like the demo cars are showing up all over the US. Sorry to hear about the delay. Hang in there - the car is absolutely gorgeous and worth waiting for the improved design and mechanical updates:
Rob No explanations other than covid. I expect devoting production capacity to the Roma has something to do with it. Sent from my Pixel 5 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I would assume it's likely the chip problem. The biggest shortage is in display driver chips and if you can't make the electronic displays you can't finish the car. The all digital dash requires different components than the older cars.
I was due to get mine delivered in London at the end of May, but have been told it will be September now, bit disappointment as would have been great for the summer I was told is a supply issue for parts and is affecting the whole of Ferrari cars across the board...who knows
Any news for delivery dates? I’ve heard nothing from my dealer but I haven’t really pressed it since I bought something else. Thanks in advance. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I test drove a PF-M last week in Ft Lauderdale. Transmission so smooth and quick. Was told first qtr 2022 for delivery. The dealer is still waiting for their demo. Sent from my Pixel 5 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
How did it sound? Better/worse/different than existing Roma/Portofinos? We saw one at a dealer launch in March and ordered one, but have yet to hear one. Thanks, Rob
Sounds like the Roma to me. Went to see it on Friday, it's nice and this one was in Rosso Portofino, a great color.
I thought it sounded good but I drove the Roma 2 months ago so hard to compare. Sent from my Pixel 5 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Thanks for the video. We finally had a chance to drive a couple Portofino M test cars a few weeks back and the sound was definitely better than I expected. I have a 458 Spider so I was expecting to be disappointed, but I think Ferrari did a great job with the sound. I was having too much fun driving to make any videos or even take any pictures. Rob
I ordered mine 11 months ago. Still hasn’t locked. Supposedly any day. So maybe end of Q1 as others stated Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I placed my order in October 2020 for a PF-M. Went status green on June 29th. No update since. Sent from my Pixel 5 using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Mine went status 70 (track testing) last saturday, so I am awaiting shipping - expecting delivery at the end of october or early november. Still don't have my final production picture - they lag by about 2-3 weeks. Here is the chassis. Image Unavailable, Please Login
