Had it for 5 weeks now. Maybe the most affordable analog 911 around these days. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you. It’s the black interior with red stitching, red seat belts and red sport chrono clock. It also has the carbon trim and carbon illuminated door sills. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Honestly, I would have picked them just for a the looks alone. The 2 or 18 way seats may be a little more comfortable and easier to get in and out of, but the buckets add to the whole driving experience and really make it a GT car. While they can be a little annoying if you're hopping in and out of the car a bunch, they are very comfortable once you are in. I'm 5'10" and 180lbs, and fit in them perfectly. I've also done a couple two hour drives already and have zero complaints regarding comfort for extended periods of time. The only critique I have is that I wish the back was reclined just a little bit more than it is. I'm getting used to the upright feel, but I still buy some brackets that tilt the whole seat back a few degrees to make it a little more relaxed. Other than that, no complaints and if I had to do it again, I would order the same seats.
Always a Ferrari enthusiast but these 997's have really grown on me. Just the right size, power, sound and styling oh and budget. New HRE's are working well. Image Unavailable, Please Login Totally agree. Although I'm biased! 997.2S. It's the sweet spot in terms of having enough modern safety features and amenities, but not as fussy and busy as the newer generations. Next up 70K miles...T
They also fit the same as all past 911's. ((991's are a different car). The interior feels larger. Can see out of them better. Great cars.
Agreed. Most of my issues are with the interiors on the newer 911s - center console looks like it belongs on a luxo-barge SUV not an iconic sports car. I love the ergonomics from the driver's seat of my 997.2S - apart from the confounded left-side ignition key!! 911 + F-car = perfect 2-car garage IMO...T

Emory Outlaw What do you guys think about these ? He starts with a stock 356 Coupe, cuts the top off, replaces the rear suspension with 911 parts to cure the oversteer. And drops in a 2.5 liter 914 motor. Definitely not stock, but looks like fun. Image Unavailable, Please Login
