Nice car. I don't know about values, is it well-priced for a UK import, or is he a dreamer?

If his asking price is on the money (pardon the pun), then I can perhaps understand the frustration evident in his spiel, and if I were serious, I'd still enquire and try to buy the car subject to PPI at a mechanic of my choosing (not negotiable). If his price is way off, then I hope he likes that car, because it'll be his for a little while longer. No one wants to deal with that attitude over an overpriced car.

I particularly liked the obvious engine oil leaks in the underside photo.

FFS if the car was already on the hoist, you'd think he'd clean it before photographing? Even 15 minutes with a gurney would have made a big improvement.
