I live west of Pittsburgh in the town of Beaver and was wondering about any good Ferrari mechanics in this area. I have a 83 308 QV which I have done most of the work myself with some good guidance. Some one mentioned George Riggins. Joe at the old Auto Palace used to take care of my car.
    Thanks, Gary

Joe took care of my car, too. Joe Riggins was recommended to me as well, but I made an appointment at Pete's European in Gibsonia; first available was mid-Sept.

Pete and Joe worked together at Exoticars Pittsburgh and Pete had worked on my 328 when his shop was in Moon.

I also live in Beaver county.

I use Dan Fowler at Fast Cars on route 8. He started at Auto Palace and then went to Fifth Ave Motors. He knows the cars in and out. He has taken car of all of my vintage cars for 40 years. He is currently at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix with his race team. Great guy and excellent service.

shortly before i sold my 328, guiseppe defelice, who always worked on her passed away.

he took care of her since i purchased her, 15+yrs.ago. from the previous Exotic Cars Pittsburgh.

i only point this out because he was a truly skilled mechanic and wonderful fellow.

my 328 was giving me orthopaedic issues. when the right offer came up, i sold her.

today, if i had another 328 in equivilent condition, i would sell the porsche and buy her.

thru guiseppe (too late) i found that re-conditioned seats could be contoured to the new owner given time.

    if only i knew sooner.

Danny Fowler is very good but it might be difficult to schedule an appointment. George Riggin Specialty Automotive (Harmony, PA) does all of my work, he is methodical and honest.
