It may not be a telling sign, but it looks like some people are already hit hard by the economic situation - with such a distinctive spec, the car was most probably bought to be kept (at least for some time, no flipper would have taken such risks), and now it's for sale at a loss
Yeah- blue seats on a Red car?? Is that indicative of the market or a colorblind owner speccibg the car??
Best case scenario, the car sells at $400K and the new owner can re-upholster the seats in black and add blue in the dash/doors to improve it.
Only a Florida fan could want that color scheme. At least a 50% chance that car was ordered by a UF fan.
I was offered a new Never delivered Pista yesterday from a dealer but it was not a color I like, I know of several used ones that can be bought at sticker maybe a little less ... but of course not the color I want..looking for a red pista with stripe black interior and all(or most) the carbon fiber options ...if anyone know of one that can bought for sticker I am Interested..in the USA of course.....
It’s been like this since January. Several other sellers are listing them for the similar discounts, in launch spec too with a less bloated MSRP. The Pista was produced in greater numbers and the price tag was increased dramatically over its predecessors, even when considering the general price increases every brand does yearly. A Typical 2016 McLaren 675LT build was generally $100K MSRP more than a Speciale build. A Pista will be basically matched to a 765LT MSRP wise. With that said, That doesn’t mean anything on the greatness of the car, it’s still a huge improvement over the GTB. And if you bought the car with the purpose of expecting a “free” Ferrari ownership experience then I think you bought it for the wrong reason to begin with.
Ouch, tough crowd. Ultimately, there will be person that falls in love with this car or someone who would not mind the color combo for the right price. It's the reason that color combos that sometimes seem outlandish or strange ultimately find a home. It's a brave spec for sure.
Your silence speaks volumes. Keep in mind they're open to offers and you still have to take in the commission, which would hover around 4-7%. That's still a pretty good outcome for a nearly two year old car that's terribly spec'ed in a turd market.
That car is hideous... But this still wins,... or loses... https://www.jakesmotorcars.com/vehicle-details/used-2017-bentley-mulsanne-speed432776-msrpspecial-ordered-1-of-1-san-diego-ca-id-31354588 And they brag its 1 of 1!
Following the carfax.... it's a one year car; delivered by ferrari austin, traded in on a car at Mclaren Charlotte and then wholesaled to Chicago motor cars. Original owner probably took a $100K hit on the car for less then one year ownership and less then 800 miles.
So it lost 20% in 1 year... equities lost 30% in 1 month, take that into consideration. Now, if they didn't listen to me and got suckered into buying a Lusso/flavor of the month, then OUCH!
hey what can I say I like the Pista .. I have an F8 on order but would drop it if I find a Pista first.. the F8 was to be delivered very June and that is obviously not happening with the plant closed probably through April.. . I think the Pista is the best looking recent Ferrari ..
Well most likely did buy Lusso (or whatever), paid TX Sales Tax (6.25%) plus the hit. Then again if you ordered a car like that, you probably don't care about backend.
