Did you end up passing on your Performante Spider? Was at Dallas and noticed a blue custom spec and thought of you...I didn't ask Tim.
I tell ya sniffing around that Aventador jinxed the Pista deal! BB is the start of something new and in another league.
that’s mine... and Yes I did. How does it look? When I was offered the Pista, one car had to go. Hard to explain how I am buying 3 new exotic cars in 2 months to the wife. She’s a sweetheart but that’s a hill too high lol. I am afraid to go look at it
I’m just sayin that no “game” needed to buy a pista in China. Supply demand, nothing wrong about that.
The 488 was the only guidance from Ferrari for a Pista, was stated right in the leaked slideshows at the factory presentation. Anything else were dealer side tactics, that's just the facts.
I've located 2 pista's for sale, one local to me. Local one is a high spec 460kMSRP. I'll have to pay over nowhere close to 100k. Second is a lower spec and I can get it at about 20k over. I'm finding that dealers have them but they aren't listed on their sites. I think it makes sense to wait a bit as I believe a few more will start popping up. I just don't get buying a car and driving it then putting it right up for sale. Just seems like a PIA.
You'll get what you want, don't fall for dealer BS and we aren't even halfway through with Pista deliveries. Walk the factory V8 assembly line and you'll see what I'm talking about. Dealers have them, but trying to flip for above MSRP using third party dealer mules or Lusso game, that's it and why they don't advertise them. Mules (brokers, third party resellers, etc.) do it for them, which won't directly expose their tactics to a dealer's ordinary customers.
You specced it great--looks much better in person. Love the additional inserts you did on interior. Someone will be happy--well except Tim LOL. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Transactions are well below for 488 spiders. If he will blindly buy at that high price, do it and run.
I live in Atlanta. I have seen 2 Pistas on the road in the past 2 weeks. One was silver with black stripes and the other a red with no stripe. On the dealer showroom floor for sale was a show car spec of red with silver/dark blue stripe. Unicorn my a**. Lastly, they are not supposed to advertise cars that are less than a year old. It ruins the unobtanium game! Therefore of course you are not seeing cars advertised for sale. NOT unavailable. Best
Not new ones...if so SHOW ME. Show me ONE 488 Spyder that’s new for sale less than 330K. A 2019. Let’s see it.
As my dealer says most of Fchat is full of poseur fanboys with lots of opinions and no cars. Or as we say in Texas....all hat and no cattle.
I saw one yesterday at we are curated in Miami, orange ish, I have yet to see one here in the Bay Area Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have purchased 5 new Ferrari’s. I passed on the Speciale as I wanted an A. I passed on the Pista as it is both a coupe and IMO overpriced for what is essentially a 10 year old design with a motor that frankly sounds uninspiring. NOT a poseur. A connoisseur who knows s*** from Shinola. Sorry. Best
