:o! that is a beautiful house! Its huge, wow 18k sq feet.
I can tell you that without a doubt that this house represents over 25+ years of hard work by a first generation citizen who earned every penny the hard way. I understand where you're coming from, but you owe this gentleman an apology. It is really sad when the first assumption that many people make is that, "well, he musta cheated." Dale BTW, he is almost the world's best at what he does.
LoL! River Oaks... Such memories. For those of you in Texas, particularly Houston, you'll know what I mean... I grew up in Texas, living there between 1980-1991. As a kid "River Oaks" was IT! If somebody lived there, they were "Oh my God" rich. I haven't been back to TX since 1991 when I was 15, so seeing pics of Amir's house and reading somebody ask if it were in the River Oaks area brought back some very old memories. Amazing house BTW Amir. I see that this thread is very old, but congrats anyway.
ya i was pretty sure this was the superbowl party rental house during the one in houston. edit: http://www.superbowl-accommodations.com/Houston_Listings/AIbr003/aibr003.shtml
Wow... $150,000 for the week. Looks like the Super Bowl is coming to Tampa in 2009. Time for me to buy a big house -R
Amir, Your home is truly beautiful. I get the feeling that your life and all that's in it, is equal to or better than, that beauty. We're sure that is the case Cheers, hank
Amir: as has been so aptly stated by many members......you have a stunning home. I believe I drove by it a last year when I was down in Houston visiting a friend of mine who works for Post Oaks. He took me on a small tour of River Oaks in a Bentley Continental GT, and we drove by a house that looked remarkably similar to yours. If it was.....that's awesome. Again, gorgeous home! Enjoy.
apologize for what?? if you're proclaiming the guy is the best..then let's hear it...medicine is an overall small community..if he is truly the best than other docs probably have heard of him...I was kidding around..it wasn't meant to be a malicious attack...geez, you need to relax...besides, docs with multimillion dollar bank accounts usually don't make it through medicine...they utilize the money they make from medicine to finance their other ventures that bring in the major $$$$
I almost never look at the date ( I should start) when replying to threads, assuming if they're at or near the top, they're new. So what the hell do people do, search archives and reply to old threads?
Stunning home, the high-end homes seem pretty low in Houston, compared to other markets? Is Houston a poor city?
I am with you on this one. I have an off topic thread going and someone referred to another older thread. I went on that one, got engrossed in it and forgot it was not my thread, replied to a comment about a car for sale, then later realized the thread was 18 months old!! Got a good laugh out of that!
Go to user controls>subscribed threads then click on one of the highest page numbers (your early posts). Find a great old topic and post again! Thread-boom-bah!
