To be honest i dont remember! Only put 200 miles on it in past 11 yrs! Just got a fresh major done and gonna drive it again.
The easiest way to tell is if the shields are a porcelain piece set into the body of the fender (the sheet metal was stamped with an indent to accommodate the shield), or they are applied on the surface of the paint (usually a decal of sorts). Also, shields weren’t offered until late in the 355 production (I believe introduced in 98.5). Anyhow, just curious. Factory shields are not very common.
Yep no shield on my sticker - were they attainable as an option in 95? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Not factory shields, though many owners had aftermarket shields applied. Again, when the factory began offering shields as an option in 98, they were applied into a stamped indentation within the sheet metal (the shields are porcelain). All aftermarket shields, regardless of their material, are applied atop the sheet metal, above the surface.
Not mine, but I saw this beauty on Wednesday. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
