Barry, did that Camaro behind you in Pic 2 overtake you or were you able to pull away?

I pointed him by after I crested The Uphill.

In addition to Corvettes and Camaros, there were Porsches, Lotuses, BMWs and lots of other fast machinery, Grant. I was the only Ferrari in this SCDA event. The day started out at 35 degrees and warmed up to 45. It was not a day for slicks. I was driving on a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires in stock sizes for the F355. The tires performed well and heated up nicely providing excellent grip on the cold road surface. I handled the turns with the best of them out there but the F355 Challenge was no match on the straights.

 

I think that if you meant business that day, you would smoke the Camero and the beemer on the track. Except for maybe the vette, which itself is a race car. The lotus are apparently pretty good track weapons but no match for the 355s.

 

I usually short shift through the tght stuff about 6 grand when they are behind me. This leads them to believe thats all i got so they leave extra room comming into the last corner down the straight so they can reel me in.

Thats when i drop the hammer throught the last corner onto the straight and watch them wonder what they did wrong, then I pull off the track next lap just to leave them wondering. Ha ha.

If they are real *******s i tell them I had to pull in because The car was not runnng well.
They all ways come over.

Where do you track? They won’t let me on since I do not have a roll bar. I say ok, let me go get my Ducati, so you’ll let me on the track. That’s much safer!
