Seeing lots of comments in the Japopnik site about it being "unnecessary". Only individuals from the Philippines who grow up and witnessed illegal smuggling for decades firsthand would understand why this publicity stunt is necessary.

if they didn't crush this (Ferrari or another brand), it would go to auction and the same individuals who sent them illegally will just bribe the auctioneer to release it to them. Lot's corruption going on that spectators will not and wouldn't understand unless they grew up there.

Governments and root cause analysis do not often intersect.

Btw, who else was impressed at how well the rear end held up when the dozer was sitting on top of it?

A lot easier to crush the car than fix the corruption.
