Looks like Tiger makes the cut at the Genesis, which means the TV ratings will double.
I sure wish Tommy Fleetwood would bag one of these.....

I know this will be far-fetched, but can we NOT discuss the fights between the
two different tours? Just discuss the actual tourneys themselves?

And, we may start up a LIV Tour thread as well.

I thought you could not wear metal cleat golf shoes?
I just watched Patrick Cantlay and he definitely had metal cleats...

It’s painful to watch Tiger. You can tell his leg is very weak. By round three walking looks difficult. I respect him playing to support the key PGA events. His star power is pretty amazing and he’s using it to benefit others, he doesn’t need the money.

Riviera look like a beautiful course.

They showed him walking the last few holes, I was looking to see if he was using
the club as a cain or crutch, I didn't see him leaning on it as he walked....
But then again, years gone by, I don't recall seeing him walk up a fareway
with a club in his hand?
All I ask is the same I do of all golfers - don't embarass yourself, like Phil's 10 or 12
on that one hole a few years ago.

I figured that, or he would have issues. I just thought they used the same 'type' of rules everyone
else adheres to at our local courses.

Tiger nearly sank a second shot on a par-5. I never knew that that would have been called an albatross!

Tommy F will break through at some point- class guy- sick talent- amazing short game- driving and 2nd shot play on par 5s is his weakness IMHO

Tiger has great Thursday- crap Friday but makes the cut on the number- then has a great round today including that sick eagle- The man loves to compete and loves the game- some KT tape in warmup and off he goes- mass respect.

Rahm looking strong- his temper always got ahead of him but seems to have chilled a bit- which is scary- a happy John Rahm is ugly for the field.

Cantlay is amazing talent but always looks like he has a pimple on his scrotum- can't stand the guy- reminds me of the snot-nosed rich kids I kicked their ass and clipped their girlfriends in school

Rory is amazing- JT rocks- Scheffler is incredible but always seems scared- needs more swagger.

    Should be a fun season.

Frankly I could give a rats ass about "LIV" and the defectors - are they playing? But agree we should not dribble on the fight and focus on the play.

    Cheers

He's awesome! I can't flippin stand PGA tour pros who never smile- Like Cantlay-

Morikawa looks like he's enjoying himself. So does Paul Casey, Rahm, Zalatoris and others.

I realize focus is necessary and stakes are high but for Christ's sake your playing a dream game in beautiful places being treated like a king and making sick money- Doesn't hurt to smile once in a while.

Well, Rahm is on a roll.....
I remember the tourny he was leading in, was it 2020 or 2021? by 6 strokes,
and they came to him on the 16th(?) and told him he had to withdraw because
    he tested positive for covid?
Man that would suck, especially knowing what we know today.

This Heritage last round and playoff Speith vs. Fitzpatrick is epic! I hope Speith pulls it off.

Urgh, 3 playoff holes, Speith had him the first two with putts that rimmed out. Fitzpatrick stuck one in there 3rd.

We were hoping too - seems like a really classy guy.

Neither my girlfriend nor I golf, but after watching "Full Swing" on Netflix, we're now watching it on the weekends :)

you are OK with all the "mash potatoes" and the others. :D

I like the party atmosphere of the 17th at Phoenix, but it seems the golfers and fans are both in on it together. I don't like all the stuff that seems like hey listen to me, I need attention, I wasn't loved as a child.

Does this mean we boycott Dell going forward?

I find all this hilarious, idiots have no issue putting Saudi gas in their vehicles
or buying golf clothes made in China, but for some reason Saudi is 'bad'???

Near my hometown PGA Colonial is this week. Some pretty big names. Use to be Byron Nelson got the big names and not Colonial, but now opposite.

Michael Block just hit an amazing shot off the bridge 10th. Buddy and I walked over this bridge last year. On concrete up over trees like 180 yards only 10 feet short of green.

Didn’t get pic of bridge, but got this player trying to hit out next to it.

Unfortunately, Block wound up shooting 81, but after last week, I'm not sure that really matters right now.

That was a great shot but the Block narrative went way overboard. Outside of the fairy tale PGA Champ, he’s seemed a bit…… “off”.

    Media loves gimmicks like that
