    As much as this is directed towards older, classic cars, modern cars are not immune to the damages caused by ethanol fuel. Not to mention the reduced fuel economy it creates as well. If you noticed at all, as of 2023, the government mandated that ALL gas stations must sell ethanol-content fuel in ALL GRADES.

    The following petition was sponsored by the National Association of Automobile Clubs of Canada and I encourage everyone to consider signing this. Please pass this link along to any other car clubs you are a member of and know of anyone else who owns a classic/sports car. The petition is to request the government to reconsider this mandate and introduce at least one grade of gasoline that does not have ethanol in it:

    Ethanol fuel wreaks havoc on older boat motors as well. Inboard and outboard.
    Our local Marina supplies non-ethanol fuel, however it's only available in premium. Marine gas prices are high enough with regular octane gas prices.
    The owner mentioned that the premium non-ethanol fuel might not be available this spring either.
