Good to know Andrew. Guess I won't be shipping the car to the UK on my next visit there then. Don't need any more attention from the local constables than one already gets when driving a bright red Italian sports car. Thanks for the heads-up. Henry
Maybe they were. Then whoever sold that car sold it out of state or the new buyer got different vanity plates.
Plates Came today.... for my 355 that I sold 2 weeks ago.... That's okay...I will get them transferred over to the Lexus. Image Unavailable, Please Login
LoL... I've posted this so many times but I'll do agaaaaaain.... I still live in NE, btw. When I moved to NE they wanted $2100/year to register my Ferrari and Lexus. In Oregon, when you buy a brand-new car you pay $140 for FOUR-YEAR plates. The tags on my Lexus that I purchased new in 2010 do not expire until 2014. Any other vehicle costs about $140 for TWO-YEAR plates in Oregon--doesn't matter what the vehicle costs. I left my cars registered to my grandma's house in Oregon outside of Portland, where there is no emissions testing. Just pay the $140 renewal fee online or at DMV...you get new tags which are good for two years. So...yes. I will always keep my cars registered in Oregon. And I will always buy my vehicles in Oregon because there is NO sales tax, as well.
Admittedly not so imaginative but by the time I got there everything related to 348 and/or ferrari was taken. the was the best I could do but I like it actually, clean and simple and looks nice for me ! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just got the car recently, haven't gotten around to changing the plate frame yet, I'll have to get a Ferrari one haha.
Thanks, I kid named Tanner Mashburn did a photo shoot on the beach here in Pensacola. He did a really good job. He contacted me through F-Chat saying he was going to be vacationing here, and wanted to do the photo shoot. here's a link to the whole picture archive: http://www.flickr.com/photos/49430905@N07/sets/72157631528024265/with/7982922451/
OK Craig, I've been to Florida and know how absolutely beautiful a setting the beach can be, but are ALL of those photos un-retouched? If so, the background is almost as amazing as the car. Great job by your photographer either way.
Yea, I'm not sure of what he did to get the effect in those pics, but he did do a great job. I can say that the sky did look that way on that particular day.
Just got my Washington plates today (even though the car lives in GA, long story)...with apologies to you paddlers........ Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not an F355 but my "Japan Ferrari" still gets the looks. PS: I originally wanted HAVNSX but "apparently" our DMV found that too suggestive. Image Unavailable, Please Login
