    I was in high school when his crash happened; for some reason my Dad & I were talking about it last night. Does anyone have any pictures of his car before the crash?
    I remember it was a wicked slant nose 930....

    IIRC it was a burgundy 930........I remember the crash well.

    Here is the only picture I could find on the web. I remember a grainy b/w photo from the front after the crash, but that's all I could find. Sad story, beautiful car as well....

    :eek: Jesus! WTF happened there? That must have been one heck of an impact. Did he drive straight on into a building or something?

    he was drunk and hit a wall headon at about 90mph. Lckily no one else died. He was a superstar on the rise in the NHL....

    Short version of my story...grew up in south jersey and played hockey with the kids of many of the Flyers. One of my good friends is Bernie Parent. I was at Bernie's house one day when Pelle stopped by to see my friends father who was still with the organization at the time. As a car nut I jumped at the chance for a ride in what at the trime was the greatest car I had ever seen! Sadly it was only a short time before he crashed. The stairs he hit are only about 20 minutes from where I live.

    Sad waste of a talented young guy and one bad ass car!
