Just got back in town. Was hoping to see a bunch of pictures from all of you. How was the event? Everyone get home safely? Sorry I had to miss this one.

We arrived this afternoon. Great turnout, lots of cars and some fun driving. I've never seen so much law enforcement of the freeways. We all made here safely. I'm sure pictures will follow in the days to come. :)

I thought I heard there was some sort of Police function in the area last weekend. Probably accounts for the extra appearances. There may even be some mention of it on this thread somewhere.

They don't leave until tomorrow. We just happened to see about 10 CHP/NHP.

Never in my life have I seen so much law enforcement on the 15! The second we felt safe another one showed up. Thank goodness someone had 007 James Bond style equipment in their car.;) Great drive guys. Thanks for taking me along.

That's unfortunate. I just drove from Vegas to the beach in L.A. on Tuesday and didn't encounter a single patrol car on the road, which was a big reason why I was able to make it back in 3 hours 20 minutes.

    Plugzit,

What wheels did you run? Did you run the pimp wheels? We need pictures!

Ran the stock wheels with Kumho's. The pimp wheels were too much even for Vegas. Man, what a ride that was! Several will post pics soon, I'm sure.

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that participated this year. It was a great bunch of guys and gals. We had a great drive to L.V. followed by a couple more superb drives on Friday and Saturday. Thanks as always to Eric and Jeffrey for all their time and planning to make this happen. Here's a few pics.

My son Jamie and I had the best time ever. Great people, great food, and great cars. What can be bad:) The dirves were incredible, and certainlly broke my baby's cherry. She's running better than ever. A very special thanks to everyone involved in setting things up. We'll post up some of our pics as soon as we get a minute.

Can't wait for the next one!!!

Thanks to Eric, Jon and Jeffrey for another very successful Pauper's Run. It was nice to see everyone, and I'm counting the days until our next run.

As many of you know, I blew a tire, and was not able to participate in Fridays' run. Fortunately, the Penske-Wynn Ferrari Service Department came to the rescue, and allowed me to get home without incident. They flat bedded my 430 to their shop, gave me a slightly used OEM replacement tire, fabricated a broken piece for my HRE wheel, adjusted my clutch (they did not like the way it engaged), and washed my car. As unbelievable as it may seem, they made my a priority, and charged me absolutely nothing. Its service like this that renews my sometimes weakened faith in the Ferrari auto repair business. Special thanks to Richard Kansky (Service Manager) and his team of professionals at Penske!!!

    Tim

Jon did an outstanding job making all the arrangements for our stay at Bellagio. Having personal experience setting up a block of rooms, I know how difficult sorting out the details can be - Jon makes it look easy and keeps a smile on his face the whole time. Thank you, Jon!

What a great group of guys and gals on this run - it has never been better. Thank you for joining in on the run and I look forward to seeing you all again on the next one.

    Thanks for the pics Jon!

The Scud is definitely an awesome machine...made driving through the park at those speeds pretty effortless. It was great seeing you again Bruce :)

Thanks to my co hosts Jon and Eric for really spearheading the event and for making #6 another resounding success! It would not have happened without them!

Thanks to everyone who attended. As always it's about the people more so than the venue (although you can never go wrong with Vegas!). :)
