    Patrick, the front aluminium winglets are like that originaly or did you change them for thiner ones?

    Pedro, you have eye for detail, that's true.
    And also, funnels, exhaust pipes, seatbelt, wires for wing controls, ventilation tubes, black paint in body joints, etc.

    It looks a so much better model!! i wanted to buy one, because i think the shape is great, but the original model as some horrible details...the funnels of course being the worst bit!!

    Hi Pat,

    Great models and pictures !

    As you like to have models matching exactly with the real cars, during the Ferrari Finalli, last year, on Peter Mann FXX-K, under the italian flag on the front wings was written "The tdf Collection".

    But I don't know exactly what version BBR has copy.

    Maybe another modification to do ?

    Pat has an incredible 1:18 collection and kudos to him; but I think BBR has let us down with their FXX K models. BBR wasn't meticulous enough with their 1:18 FXX K models.

    The real #27 (and it appears, nearly all FXX Ks) do not feature side markers and yet nearly all BBR 1:18 FXX K models have them. I think BBR modeled all of their 1:18 cars on an early version of #10, which I have only ever seen in the following promotional video, probably produced by the factory:

    IMO, BBR could have deleted the side markers from their 1:18 models but decided not to do so. I've also noticed more recent BBR models may have corrected the problem, albeit a bit late, at least for me. I haven't done an exhaustive search but their FXX K models in other scales do appear to be OK.

    You're absolutely right.
    The problem comes from the race to be the first to propose the models. In this objective the models are realized with the information of the prototypes of the cars.
    With the same causes producing the same effects, for MR and the 599XX about the position of the number on the front hood.

    Yes, it is one of the few that i really admire for the work on it, the photo quality, the infos and the way it is presented.

    Specifically in racing days at Hockenheim, no, there was no sticker on it.

    Yet, models arrive regularly.
