I am glad that company passed "our" way. Great motorsports enthusiasts and supporters. Great product.

Yes which is why it is hard to fathom the comments online from people swearing they will never buy a Bacardi / Patron product again!

yeah, 10 years and who knows how many millions dumped into sports car racing, be grateful....now we just need to get Bacardi interested in car racing.

Didn't DeJoria's daughter retire from NHRA? They sponsored her ride as well...

Yea, I recall - but interesting nonetheless. I wonder if Kalitta would have kept her if she stayed and the Patron deal dried up. Her dad attended a lot of her races, so I'm sure he could have worked something out, but I'm glad she retired, the NHRA has some issues they need to deal with. Not worth it.

What an absolute **** show that PLACE was - from the point of view of putting on a race they were effing clueless. 2012 was a disaster.

Maybe...but it was 20min from my house so for me it was awesome. I also got a bunch of my friends that weren't interested in racing to come out since it was so close.

Don't get me wrong - I like Baltimore - but the race organizers were incompetent and corrupt. They screwed many local businesses and while the event was supposed to be a boon for the local economy many merchants complained that it ruined a good weekend for them.

I was at that race in 2013. Lots of fun viewing at the end of the hairpin. The indoor paddock was pretty cool. Nice to get some AC on an otherwise very hot day.

Met Scott at Road Atlanta, spent a few minutes talking about racing and the competition in general with a fan, signed my visor and Patron shirt. Nice guy and genuine, hope they receive sponsorship elsewhere quickly. Times are tough.

One reason I bought their tequila is because they sponsored Fcars (it’s really good too). Guess that’s out... I’m looking for a new tequila.

Sammy still own his? Cabo Wabo.

Ha! Guess I’ll stick to bourbon and scotch.

    If that matters.
