Just heard this morning that John Weinberger, owner of Continental Autosports in Hinsdale, Illinois, passed away last night. Rest in peace, John.

I never had the chance to meet him but of course, knew of him and have always been welcomed by Continental.

My condolences to his family, friends and staff. May his memory be a blessing to them.

A great all around guy. Knowledgeable and helpful on numerous fronts. A straight shooter in an industry that needs more stand up guys. He will be missed.

Terrible news. One of the finest collectors with some of the best taste in classic cars in the country. He will be missed by all who enjoyed what he did for the industry and hobby.

Also a very nice person to talk to and deal with. RIP

Sad to hear. On the same day Ferrari competed in their 1,000th Formula 1 race.

    RIP Mr. Weinberger

I was saddened to hear this news yesterday. I met John only a few times at Ferrari Club of America events hosted by Continental AutoSports and FCA. But I certainly did appreciate his support of our hobby. He will be missed.
