Passenger airbag cover stitching question

    Hi all,

    I am looking at the possible purchase of a 488 spider, but on a visit to the dealer today noticed an inconsistency with the interior leather stitching. The car was spec’d with “STC1 coloured standard stitching O.R. Grigio Chiaro 0326” but the stitching on the passenger airbag panel is black. The airbag cover also has a couple of weird depressions in it (not shown in the photo..)

    I am assuming this is not normal and it started me wondering if the airbag has gone off. Is there a way to 100% confirm this? Image Unavailable, Please Login

    Mystery solved. Black stitching on airbag cover is normal. Airbag was replaced as part of takata recall
