So what. I'm sure the last thing she is thinking about in that cell is making more money. She has more than she can spend on shoes and purses already, not to mention she gets most anything for free anyway. The sad thing is that OTHER people will be (and already are) making all the money off her because of all this.... (hmm, scratches head thinking of ideas)
This is not correct. She got jail time for driving without a license, whichwas a violating her probation set by a previous dui arrest. Not parole.
The moment she left the jail the first time she was set up for a new "cavity search" yesterday, EEEWWWW! Probably what she was really crying about.
Incorrect. She was given 45 days, and she still gets 1 day of credit for every 1 day she serves without incident. So she will likely do 23 days. Given the credit for 5 days served (and a day of house-arrest that they counted), it means that she will do around 17 more days. She'll be out around the 25th. Thats the same as anyone else would do. She is not going to do all 45 days. She did not get hit with anything more harsh than some joe off the street.
still I just dont care, stop talking about this on anderson cooper (terrible show) and CNN every 2 minutes, who gives a sh*t there are more important things to deal with, I havent followed the story, I havent read 12 pages of thread and people should focus their energies on more valuable things... worse things happen in our justice system everyday
http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2007/06/paris-sheriff-took-hilton-family-cash.php Did family money buy Paris Hilton a temporary get-out-of-jail card? Sheriff Lee Baca, the Los Angeles law-enforcement official who ordered Hilton released from jail after serving only three days in her 45-day sentence, accepted a $1,000 campaign donation last year from William Barron HiltonParis's grandfather. That contribution constituted the maximum amount allowable under California campaign rules. Baca has come under heavy fire for deciding to let Hilton serve out the remainder of her sentence at home, in apparent defiance of the orders given by the judge who sentenced her last month. Baca has said that Hilton was suffering from a "medical condition," an explanation that has not fared well under scrutiny. This afternoon, Judge Michael T. Sauer ordered Hilton back to jail. She reportedly left the courtroom screaming "It's not right! Mom!" In office since 1998, Baca has cultivated close ties to the Hollywood community. Others who donated money to his campaign last year included Rupert Murdoch, Les Moonves, Ron Meyer, Brad Grey, Steven Segal, and Burt Bacharach. He was assailed last year over a claim by the Sheriff's Department that Mel Gibson had been arrested without incident, when the star had actually spewed anti-Semitic statements after getting pulled over for drunk driving. It soon emerged that Gibson had taped a public service announcement for Baca's relief committee. Baca has not yet responded to a request for comment.
Its like a train wreck. Its so tragic you cant look away. The only reason its on the Cable news is the debate over the justice system not Paris. Even Bill O Rileytalked in depth about it.
This is funny. Watch the video and listen for the reaction from the guy in the crowd, then watch the spokesman try to compose himself! http://video.ap.org/v/Default.aspx?partner=en-ap&g=7bbbdc75-27af-4d94-8574-613c62e447e7&t=s60&p=ENAPus_ENAPus&&f=cavan
Watched that happen live yesterday, and it was damn funny then!!! Still quite funny that some people are taking this so seriously!! Has everybody forgotten about Anna Nicole Smith already??
Just heard on the news that Paris has been offered US$500K to write a 'prison diary' and her Mother is shopping around to sell her 'prison story' which is rumoured to be worth around US$10mill!!!
The photoshops are starting to show up, here's a few I found on various sites. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
now wouldn't that have been something to see if the judge was the same one from smith's court battle?
