Great idea for a thread! Here's some photos of the very last (pre-SI) Pantera produced by the factory. Chassis THPNIU09562. Now in France with a delaer/owner, still has less than 1000km from new! I run a registry for De Tomaso cars at www.QV500.com - if you include VIN numbers I'll make sure I add them to the various sections. This is chassis 4221, a 1972 Pantera GTS exported to Iran for use by the Shah and his associates. I love the early narrow-bodied GTS Pantera's with their matt black sills, front lids and engine covers. wow what a GREAT start to a thread...we already have seen some amazing and significant Pantera's. the 'last' car - the yellow one, the 'shah' car, that push button, amazing!!!
I'm sorry, but what exactly what would they be 'stealing'?...photos of cars? and what information? Why not elaborate a little?
qv500 is a site built by flying in books news, photos and in violation of copyrights. its reputation in Europe is terrible and in addition to all this, he invented false pantera Gr3, for what purpose? to be avoided at all costs
One-owner (founder and former president of swedish Panter club) car, has done somewhere around 220000 miles by now. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here's some photos of the Emilia Concessionaires GT5 demonstrator featured in lots of period magazines here in the UK. I'd love to track this car down or even just identify the VIN. Actually, there were several GT5's imported into the UK with body-coloured wheels. Very 80's!!! By the way Patrick, any idea of the VIN on that gorgeous GTS? Factory issued postcards depicting the European-market Pantera L. The Arancio (orange) shade is one of my all time favourite colours for the Pantera. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Who, me? Not a clue... But Mr Gorski and his car should be well known, at least in europen Pantera-circles. Shouldn´t be to hard to find someone who knows.
More factory postcards, this time the Pantera Gruppo 3 competition car. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A couple moore. I think the red one is a really late car that a friends family imported o couple of years ago. Not very well built though, the first time they filled it up with gas, the tank leaked A LOT. When the fenders were mounted, the factory had managed to drill holes trough them and the tank... A little sound to go with all these pics. An old Top Gear featuring the Pantera. A very nice GT5 and what looks like an L series. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4VArc-kY_0s
Love the sound of this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1xvZ0c59Ic Not exactly a standard car though, doing 341 km/h during a swedish speed record atempt. Was seen at Bonneville a couple of years ago, going even faster.
My friend Jan is owning three awsome P-cars. I met him back in april 19th when I took my yellow Vector down to SoCal for cars and coffee. http://community.webshots.com/user/does200 1. Black 2. Red 3. Burgundy Red 4. He just sold the orange one
click FerrariAds above...mine is for sale..going to ebay for final sale if no one here wants it first, probably within a few days...hope this is not against the rules, if so, sorry
