Has anyone painted their interior trim to a glossy piano black color from silver. I think it would look really good on the lighter interior colored cars and was curious if anyone could share pics before I actually do it.

I just got all mine powdercoated silver. You can find pics of Carbon fiber pieces and it may give a good idea.

Would love to see this on an F430. I don’t have the carbon trim option but am not a huge carbon fan.

When the first gen GT3 Porsches came out there were interior trim pieces painted to match the exterior color. Was kinda cool then but not sure about it now. Plus the interior (thinking console and lower door trims) are kinda exposed to a lot use. Glossy black could be nice on garage queen but wonder how well you could live with it on a car you want to enjoy. Just my .o2

Color matched interior panels are definitely a 90's thing. I've had a few parts painted gloss black in previous cars with great results, at least in my opinion. However, the key is to keep them to low/no touch surfaces, otherwise it will be full of finger prints as you describe. I think the dash panels are enough out of the way to keep them from looking bad.

90's thing??? more like a 2000's thing. We had the piano black in our 02 Audi and this GT3 is from 2004. I agree fingerprints galore on the black. The midnight blue isn't bad in the Porsche it doesn't show fingerprints as badly.

Well, it started in the 90's :D Petered out early 2000's

Personally, I associate it with the custom import scene in the late 90's when everyone was painting their interiors in matching colors.

My car is gloss black on the inside. I am not sure if it came like this or was painted.

Well even back in the day I wouldn't do a bright color in a Porsche like a yellow console to match the exterior, but it would have looked amazing in a Nissan Skyline.
