I need to get the front of my Vette resprayed..... any suggestions?
Jano's done a lot of our cars. 4M paint and body, Lewisville (972) 219-0349, tell him you're an Fchatter and you know the local crew. Does this mean you're back?
That's right..... I met him at one of the events. Is he a board member? It's a hassle to call and would prefer to PM or Email. I'm not gonna be back in the US for two more weeks and then am gonna be flying back to PDX for a few days... was thinking of dropping the car off and flying out of Dallas.
Email or PM to Jano is about as effective as a carrier pigeon. He's sort of challenged when it comes to those things. If you want to let us know when you're coming, we can contact him and get it scheduled? If he knows you're coming, he'll be ready when you arrive. He's worked on my Ferrari, my YukonXL, and will soon be doing work on my Infiniti and my Jag. I wish things would quit bumping into my cars.
There is a paint and body shop on the east side of Plano Road, just north of LBJ Freeway in northeast Dallas that seems to cater to high end cars. I see a lot of Porsches over there. I have never used them as they are probably out of my price range but the cars at their facility seem very high dollar. Maybe someone in the group has used them and know more about them. Good luck with the search, Jeff Dallas, Texas 1994 Alfa Romeo 164 LS
I believe that is Stuarts - they do great work... They do a lot of Ferrari and Maserati stuff as well as other cars.
That is Stuarts Paint and Body. Stuart Singer won second place at the concourso last year at Monterey for his restored 248 Dino. The difference between the winner and second was a screw that was not a factory original under the car. He does all the work for the Boardwalk group as well as RUF.
And you get a free Snap-On screwdriver with every repair! You just have to find it. (For those of you that don't understand the above, it's just me poking fun at SpeedRacerette)
