Any recommendations for which brand paint protector (i.e. 3m scotchguard) and if anyone in the Florida area any recommendations for installer, should I wrap the entire car or just the front half, lastly what would be a fair cost be? Thank you

My guy used Xpel and it cost $500 for the front bumper and lip included. I had the front parking sensors and camera as well, which require a little extra work to go around.

When I was car shopping, a few places I called would quote me $1,500 to cover a Ferrari, but only $600 or so when I called after a few days asking to wrap the font bumper of a 2014 Camaro.

To wrap the entire car is just absurd, just stick to the front bumper and don't get too close to commercial vehicles. If an object is going to dent your hood, clear bra won't stop it, your car is very slippery by design...

Suntek with the 10yr warranty. Very satisfied. Had expel on the 991tts and it's thicker so you can feel it, not so much with the Suntek. They are both good though. It's the installer that matters.

I used XPEL on my R8 but decided to go with Suntek on my 458. They are both excellent. The only notable difference is that Suntek tends to look more shiny/clear. Quite frankly no one could tell I had PPF on either car. It's more about the quality of installation than the film itself.

Don't rule it out as an option. Great self healing properties. I recently did a lot of research on my upcoming replacement, I became very impressed with the new 3M Pro films. I agree with many there that the quality of installation is just as critical. If I can find a vendor that provides pre-cut films for my 458, I am very tempted to do it myself - not so much for saving money but rather wanting the experience and the certainly of the level of care that goes into the project. Many here suggest not to wrap the entire car but how will that affect the different parts of the car over time, especially due to UV fading?

Just provide your vehicle details as a message when checking out. No, I have nothing to do with this company, just as curious to know as you. It isn't that hard since no conventional adhesive is used.

Thank you for the info. I was hoping I could find pre-cut 3M Pro films. Xpel Ultimate is good too and that's what I have now. DIY isn't hard at all. I did it with my BMW i3 and I actually enjoyed doing it.

+1 my whole Nero spider is done with Suntek except for the engine lid and convertable top. Maintinence is a breeze. No swirls.

Do entire car. The aerodynamics means rock chips and fly over and hit the back top bit of the car also protects you from keying anywhere. Also for consistency of shine/finish.

Now black isn't a hobby, it's really just another color.
