Can anyone tell me what the difference between these two rosso corsa 300/6 & 300/9 codes are? My car's (found on line) documentation only indicates that it is 300. But I cannot find out whether its also a /6 or /9. I want to order a new paint label from ICP and they don't show a "plain" 300.

    Thanks,

    Bob R.

Unfortunately, I don't have those documents, which is part of the difficulty. The OM, which I do have, does not have anything either.

The Ferrari Owners Club site only lists my car's Vin# color as "fer 300". Is there a color number without the "/#" after it?

the rosso corsa 300 has several / numbers but when mixing the paint there is only two formula's. One is slightly lighter in shade.

I wish I could find some way to determine which /#? mine is then!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why is this so difficult with them? It's not like they had to keep track of 100K+ cars of this model.

If you go to a professional paint supplier or auto body shop, they can mix you the proper color. They have computers that can scan the paint and also the good old paint chips. I use sikkens and the matches are 99%.
