One of my cars was backed into yesterday by a teenager and I need recommendations on a competent shop in the West LA area. I don't need Ferrari levels of quality though it would be nice. Just a decent no-bondo shop. The father of the teenager is wanting to pay out of pocket so I'm not looking to fleece anyone. Just what's fair.

    Thanks in advance,

    Manny

Dude! Thanks for this info. I love Gary! Kinda lost touch with him for awhile. Just got off the phone with him after talking for about an hour. He used to look after my Dino when he was at Tillack. Looks like I'm swinging by to check out his new operation.

    Thanks again,
    Manny

PS. Sorry, forgot to thank everyone else for their recommendations. I was checking a few of them when I stumbled back here to find my old bud Gary. Thanks again.

I've taken mine, all makes to Martin Cadillac, Life-time guaranty. They even let me come see progress and take pictures of the work. Done quicky touch-ups, but had a Suburban hit broadside when a 16 year old on the phone blew a light @ 50 in a 35, that had been green my way for about 15-20 seconds allready, I was third car in line through intersection. Two doors, center post, 1/2 floorpan,A pillar, front susp (1 side) and a slight frame pull back to .035 within tolerance of perfect. Thank goodness she had her belts on, just deep bruises, but they had to cut the doors off to get her out. I've been totally happy and had one touched up months later when it had slight lifting of the clear coat near the door handle. They took it right in the next day and picked it up in the afternoon. Sweet!

Steve at SCC is a great guy to do buisness with. Old world politeness and customer oriented service. The job on my beamer was 2 weeks long else where. Steve worked after hours and w/e to deliver the car in perfect condition in 4 days. The price was also right. He even offered his Phantom while my dd was with him. He is a generous guy with great interpersonel skills. Adil.

Specialty Car Craft does indeed do good work. It doesn't hurt that Steve is a super nice guy as well!

Steve did my Exige, and the paintjob SCC did was actually better than the factory paint job.
