Here's definitely a bit of serious automotive nostalgia. Would be very cool if an F-chatter were to take the Gullicksons up on this opportunity.

The prototype's not so bad. It looks like a V12 luxury sedan conceived in the late 90s but there's some potential there. IMO, $1.5m seems like kinda a deal for the rights to that heritage and a one-off prototype to boot.

Good lord that car is ugly. But it would be really cool to own your own car company.

It reminds me of those modern Rolls & Bentleys, just as ugly.

Looks like something that Tata might be interested in.

Wow. In college (I attended the Canadian Automotive Institute and studied Business Administration - Automotive Marketing) I did a term paper on this company and the product. I found it a fascinating project for Roy to take on an honored and well recognized brand and tackle the giants (Bentley and RR). I spoke to him on the phone he was very generous in sharing information to a student and to top it off I'm from the same place in Canada that he is. I have never met him, I'm gathering hes selling off the company and his prototype as it never got off the ground.

    Good luck.
I still think it should be taken to the marketplace as the Packard name could live on and tackle the British ultra luxury cars.

They had some damn nice packards to though. 1.5 mil to own a car company seems fair to me and you get a one of a kind (albeit ugly) car with it. The best part is you could do alot with the brand/name

By the time you could bring a product to market there will not be anyone left alive that remembers Packard.

May as well start with a clean sheet like Tesla did and spend $1.5m on marketing.

    That prototype is interesting...

Considering that Enzo used the Packard V-12 as his inspiration for his first engines, maybe Ferrari should buy the rights. Probably about the same amount of money spent on shrimp in the F1 VIP areas per year.
