Anyone know Edward Walson, the owner of the P540 Superfast Aperta? I would like to get in touch with regarding an upcoming Concours featuring Pininfarina bodied cars. If anyone has contact info for him, that they are able to share, please send me a PM. The car would be a wonderful addition to the field.

    Don't have any info.

But, I saw this car when they unveiled it at the Cavallino. That is one AMAZING car.

I find awesome for an individual to fulfill his dream of a personnal tailored ferrari.

But in my personnal tastes, that car is plain ugly.

I love the curves of that car and feel it has more 250 GTO styling cues then the new 599 GTO.

I thought it belonged to Rob Walton, a Wal-Mart executive, but developed by Edward Walson.

Nope. It is not Rob Waltons car. That was a mistake that was made and read it several times in a few different places.

Ah, I guess I can't believe everything I read

So, why is Rob Walton's name mentioned? The last names aren't that far off, but the first names are, is there any specific reason why he is mentioned?

PS. Do you know if he also owns that 550 GTZ?

I think the names were just confused. Many people know Rob Walton is a collector and probably just assumed they heard incorrectly.

I don't believe Rob Walton has a 550GTZ someone else has the car locally.

I like the car and wish they'd make more. It's a retro-future success IMHO.

I think you would need to see this car in person. I had the privilege to see this car at the factory and it really is a work of art. The eye for detail is amazing. Respect for the owner. But, taste is personal and we all have to respect each other's opinion.
