    They're in storage north of Spokane - you will need to pick them up. Not sure when I can get back to the northwest to get them out of storage.

    I just love your ambition, so many of these projects fall short or completion only to end up back on the market years later (like when you acquired it). Nice work, great concept, almost certain NEVER done before! Don’t give up we’re all waiting to see what comes next !!!

    This is all gonzo primitive metal work, my sheet metal shop is at the X’s and I’d rather beat metal with a rock than deal with all that. I have a friends shop that I’ll do the tricky stuff at but it’s a two hour drive each way, it is pretty fun doing it this way though, more thought of how to do it with zippo tools, today I’ll whack the passenger side to match, cut lines are in, there’s quite a bit of square tubing in the door pillar area I’m trying to avoid with the 1” cut line. Also trying to keep as much Ferrari in this build as I can, only fiberglass is that lower valance

    I'm enjoying seeing the autopsy results. This is a fascinating project and the journey is probably going to be as much fun as the destination. It reminds me of the first house I bought. Built in 1930 and "repaired", "remodeled" and "maintained" over the years by a variety of skilled and unskilled owners. It looked good until you started digging into it and discovered all the imaginative work done... "Nothing that a nice thick coat of paint can't fix..."

    I have a couple different 308 exhausts that might work, although I feel like this should have straight pipes.

    Had a little time today, you know, virus
    As some of you recall I don’t have my sheet metal equipment at this location, it’s not worth the hassle of dealing with the ex so we’re doing it cave man, man land, cocktail wieners and milk. I’m using 22 gauge metal to match, only tool I rescued was my Mittler Bros bead roller, has a few attachments so I can shear and what not, it would actually be easier to create a whole new panel but I really want to use as much original Ferrari metal I can, it’s beat to hell, abused and terrible but why not. I laid out the basic shape of the rear quarters and made some patterns, sooooo much bondo in the quarters it’s obnoxious, everything was a sculpture

    Since everything is shut down and I don’t have my shear, I allowed Lowe’s to rip me off on a piece of sheet steel 4’ by 2’ $30, crazy I know but I’m desperate, made a template and away we go, don’t have my Tig machine so I’m going to flange it, big no for me usually but the original metal is warped, I sheared and rolled a step to match the 22 gauge, few practice pieces as I haven’t built a body in a few years

    I then pre drilled self tappers to get everything aligned for curve and gap, sucked it all up tight, I’ll weld the panel later on and plug weld screw holes, rear panel will extend 18 more inches I believe for rear beautification, looks goofy bobbed currently, tomorrow I’ll match the other side, then on to wheel well structure and lip

    I don’t know, I kinda like the rivet look created with the self tapper screws. Nice fab work with limited tooling, keep going fun to watch
