That isn't something I ever thought I'd write...stranger yet, we are IN the video! A friend had his car club at a show (mostly JDM cars) a few months back. A local Reggaton rapper and his hip-hop partner asked very respectfully if they could use the car in their video and shoot some footage. We agreed and they played their song several times to get the right look for the video. They reached out several weeks ago to finish the shoot and asked if we would be in the video as the people selling the car. Of course, why not? I never thought in my life I'd be in a rap video, that is for sure! Anyway, the story is they get a bunch of money and they want to trade in their car for a Ferrari. They "buy" ours in the video and my wife and I get to sell it to them. Pretty cool to have a bodyguard and get whisked away in an E90 (oddly which was my car before I bought the TR, I sold it to the 'bodyguard'; he's the friend that asked us to do the first car show). So that's the story. Scroll past if you are offended by bad words in a song (he curses in multiple languages, impressive!). Who knows if this young artist will get huge? Maybe, and if he does maybe he'd really buy it?
Cool. I guess I'm glad the kids these days like the older cars. I'm sure they were appreciative to be able to shoot with it.
