The two that i know of are Lambo power and Lamborghini.talk both very boring.
Its not like Fchat, lambo guys seem not to be hands on type of guys to work on their own cars so you don't learn much.Example had a fan relay go on my Murcielago put up a thread to see if anyone knew were it was? Nope nothing ..went to the dealer to ask they were very nice trying to help but they were not even sure.Had to figure it out myself.

The 2 other Lamborghini forums that I frequent besides FerrariChat are:

    1. Lamborghini Talk: I don't post here very much anymore. Back when Raymond and I both had Jalpa's (2002), there used to be a pretty large contingent of "classic" Lamborghini owners posting here. However, I've noticed over the years that 90% of the posts are now Gallardo.

    2. Lamborghini Power: I still post here, but not as much as Ferrari Chat. There seems to be a good selection of technical data for the older cars.

Not sure who the admins are of either, but I believe Raymond is an Admin at #1.

Correct, the jalpa subforum is still active, it's the only site where jalpa-owners can discuss.
And yes I'm still Mod there, but not very active recently.

Actually I find both Lambo talk and Lambo power to be decent sites, not sure what you mean they are not as technical, they have helped me out tremendously with any problems I had, some very savy knowledgeable ppl over on both sites.

Of course I am only in the Diablo section mind you, they seem to stick more on point to related problems and fixes. Overall it is a much more lax enviroment (imo)

On here, 90% of the discussion centers on Miuras and Countachs, so not much content for me.

One of the oher forums has a friendly atmosphere, and yes the most active sections are for the newer cars.

On another forum, if you aren't in the circle jerk they harrass you until you leave.

I post much technical and detail stuff to L-talk from my Countach and Diablo and found it more informative for techical issues, here is much more (important) historical text, but not so much hands-on technical stuff.
    Historians are here
    mechanics are there
There are not so many who actually work their cars like Countach or Diablo, but I think most of them write to L-talk. But you also have to remember; All Miura, Countach, Diablo, Murcielago and Aventador cars would fit F-chat's BB/Testarossa/TR -section.

I spend less and less time on these 2x Forums, not very active year after year for the Vintage models.

But, they are sometimes interesting posts.

I've written in the Jarama subforum, but it is not active...

I have documented all the work done to both my Jalpa and Diablo on L-talk, and sometimes its like crickets.....

that said, a few (small handful) of the other users have been very helpful.

VLG aka Vintage Lamborghini Garage. A complete asset.

Lpower, I only browse the Countach and Old school. Good Countach tech stuff answered.

L-Talk Has been great over the years for the Urraco. What's posted for Countach is usually posted elsewhere.

There is one fellow in particular on L-Power who puts up excellent, detailed DIY repair notes as he goes through his Murcielago fixing this and that, complete with photos. He's always quick to offer helpful responses to any questions. A couple of times I've urged the mods to sticky his posts. If you go to the messageboard, you'll easily be able to figure out which one he is.

  15. If your talking about Whiteout, I have a link to his blog up in the sticky.

Nope, not Whiteout. I don't want to "out" him here without his permission. His username starts with an "S" and ends in a "y". ;-)

    :)

Seriously, I have briefly scanned other Lamborghini forums and here are my thoughts:

This section within FChat has absolutely everything to warm the heart of a Lamborghini enthusiast: great technical information and advice, unrivaled multiple detailed restoration threads, unparalleled historical information and images, original factory material and illustrations, ongoing market-value threads, up-to-date current Lamborghini model material, and good-quality images like you'll find nowhere else. The latter is important.

This section also has that immeasurable quality I do not see anywhere else: passion!

If you want to get a complete education on Lamborghini, you simply come here and read all the major threads for the cars that interest you from start-to-finish, you'll know most of what you need to know.

In short, IMHO, this section is the NUMBER ONE Lamborghini resource worldwide, bar none. Yes there are others with interesting things that you may not see here, but not even close to the total package here.

Well this certainly is the #1 Lamborghini forum for kissing Rob's ask (discounts on advertising?)

It also WAS the best forum for two grown men bickering senselessly :)

Seriously, this forum is best for the useful Countach and Muira thread, courtesy of Joe - the information is very helpful and historic. Thanks to Joe and others.

As far as technical information, I don't really find much if anything. Good pictures, but little useful how-to information. With Diablo and Jalpa, there is nothing. Some cool pics and historical stuff, but nothing technical

VLG is good for older V12's but is mostly Espada focused. I read all the threads, and there are guys over there that are old school techs and engineers. On the other hand, half the threads are about how the cars are getting more and more valuable (or will someday)

LamboTalk and Lambo-chat are equally useful for technical information on Diablo's and Jalpa (maybe others, but I don't read them). THere are a few guys who post that have and share technical information, but not much is really written up on either. Kerplop's thread on the Jalpa engine rebuild will go down as one of the most useful.

VLG is a real asset for people with old V12s who work on their own cars. There's a wealth of historic maintenance information there that is still relevant. If I have a question about a specific part I needed for a car then I'd post there first.

I forgot about VLG. They are a very good site for classic Lamborghini's.

The only thing I wish, is they'd get it off Yahoo Groups and go fulltime the the nice web-based site they have. Jack, Bob and Fred (now deceased) did a nice job designing it.

I would venture to say that this is not only the best Lamborghini forum out there, this is the best forum on fchat. I find myself frequenting the Lamborghini section more than any other and have learned more here than anywhere else. Threads are intelligently organized and based on topics that continue to live on for years, making it easier to track information. There is a wealth of history and knowledge here and many informed owners, historians, enthusiasts, etc. There is a great deal of information on multiple restoration threads as well. DIY is not relevant to me, so I cannot opine on that.

Because of the focus of my business, I'm often in the Ferrari section (288 GTO/F40/F50/Enzo) where I started some significant threads that have been maintained over the years. Even with that in mind, I'd have to agree that the Lamborghini section is the best forum on FChat, in terms of useful content.
