So the house I bought this past summer has a pool cabana with a kitchen sink and dishwasher plus a two-piece bathroom. Does anyone here have experience winterizing something like this? I've shut off the water but I'm concerned about trapped water bursting a line. Would RV anti-freeze do the trick?

You should have valves that feed to cabana in the house basement. You heed to find those, close feed, open the drainers and ensure remining water flushes out of feed lines. Should your valves be higher than the floor of the cabana, then you will have to make an adapter and blow air thru the lines till no more water comes out at all exits (sink, hot, sink cold, dishwasher, toilet). flush the toilet and make shure tank is empty, water left in the bowl can be sponged-out then pour RV antifreeze in the toilet tank, bowl, sink and dishwasher. Fridge should be cleaned and door should be left slightly open or it will stink in the spring.

thats what we do for the cottage up North.

Thanks, Denis! Everything other than the dishwasher was a piece of cake. Bring on the cold.
