Well, while a lovely lady I know is riding her BICYCLE up to Austin this weekend (MS 150) I'll be packing up and heading out Thursday for the COTA to see some hot shot Ducati riding!

I hope to call some Fchatters to meet up, once in town.

I am house sitting the place while my friend is in Hawaii.

So, South Congress at Live Oak, for those of you that know the location.
Or catch me at the Broken Spoke on Thursday, and usually Planet Casper, at the Continental Club 3PM Sunday afternoon!

I promised her a bubble bath and a foot massage, when she gets to town....

I m considering going on staff, I can turn that place around!

I'll buy an old rock farmhouse and build a bar that will rival any at Indy!!

Now that could bring me back. Welcome to "Big Tex's Dang "ol Racetrack, formerly known as COTA".

I have my DVR all set, and it should be a great race. The weather should be nice, too.

Lots of Schwantz stuff on Facebook, like his practice, first lap, passenger rides, PR stuff. Great to see him where he belongs. How did they mess that up so bad last year (rhetorical question)?

    I'll tell them!

I get what you are saying...give the Track a more "friendly" vibe...

    I didn't know that!

    They must have reached settlement.

He was the one full time user of the Track with a Riding School, I'm glad if they have been able to patch that up.
We had beers with him down on East 6th Street, I think I put pics up here, but lost that iPhone when they fired me....

Well, I just have to say the everyone should give this event (and the Track OPS too!) another try....

They closed the downtown office ( looked all OVER on Friday!! LOL!) and now you just drive out to the Track, to get tickets on the fly..they let me park in Taxi Lot long enough to pick them up, and then off to the cash Lot F, to park!

Ducati had a HUGE presence, and Ducati Island was enough entertainment for anyone.

I had a little trouble proving my ST3sABS ownership (you really should get the wallet ID card, who knew??) but once I was wrist banded, by Ducati North America it was a wonderful place to rest up, during the whole weekend.

Big screen, 1200 Monster display, and if you had registered, you could park your Ducati INSIDE the track on the Grand Plaza!

    Woo hoo!

Nope, never was a ticket office at the downtown office. Those are for phone orders. Only T15 entrance to buy tickets or will call at other locations.

Found a pair of GA's for 30 bucks ea. Looked for you Tex. Will post pics later this week. Exciting race and we dodged the rain.
