[OT] Anyone having trouble with Autosport's site?

    Hey,

    For the past couple of days I keep (>80%) getting timeout errors from the Autosport site. Anyone else?

    I don't know if it's relevant or not as I'm in the UK but I've not encountered any problems.

    Hope it gets sorted for you, I know just how frustrating it can be when you can't get on your favourite sites.

    I visit Autosport everyday. Haven't had any problems at all from Chicago.

    Hmmm - Thanks for the comments guys.

    I very definitely have a big problem then :(

    In fact, my buddy (on the same wi-fi net) is getting the same problem - It will often (~50%) load the news index, but almost never open a story...... As noted, this sucks!

    Browsers are both Firefox, one on a Windows machine and mine on a Mac.

    Bummer. Oh well, we're moving to another net soon, I'll try later.

    I'm usually running Firefox on windows so you can rule that one out I think. Like I say, hope you get it sorted. :)

    I had no problems accessing Autosport yesterday morning coming back from Orlando using Gogo inflight internet service.

    Thanks again for the confirmations that it was only me! I'm now back onto my home network and life is good again - Dunno what the problem was at my buddy's place, but it sure didn't like Autosports site for some reason [Multiple systems/OS's exhibited the same weirdness btw]

    Nope - Same laptop 'puter. And everything else worked as it should (Fchat, the ifgp, news etc). Pretty "standard" set up in both locations - DHCP addressing, DNS servers defined locally etc. I suspected some kind of firewall setup in his router, but occasionally pages did load which rules that out.

    Oh well, it's good to be back home!
