Does anybody know how many cars Ferrari is building per day? They started building the car of a friend this week and my cars VIN on the wait list is 630 higher than his VIN.
Be happy that you have a VIN. I placed my order and deposit 11 months ago and I’m still on the waiting list with no VIN. Have been told that my order was accepted 31 days ago but has not hit 10 R yet.
I'm in the same boat as you. Spoke to my dealer few weeks ago and was advised 'my order was accepted' but unsure when it will hit 10R. I haven't followed up over the past few weeks. I figured with the August factory shut down I'll check in around September with the dealer. Hopefully by then it'll be 10R which then means 10-12 weeks for delivery.
Sooooo... the invoice was sent to my dealer and the car was supposedly on the truck from the port in NJ to Beverly Hills on July 22. It's nowhere to be found. It really does feel like they're transporting it via a horse and carriage.

Yeah, it would have been earlier had it not been for the stupid delays at port and now with transportation. It arrived in the US in MAY!
Back to the app that shows your status. I took delivery on my F8 July 27th. Today in the app, my status went from "waiting" to "owned".
And we're at 16 days since the car was invoiced and purportedly loaded on the truck... Dealer was told by Horseless that it would be here Wednesday, it's Friday and it's still not here. No clue what is going on now.

My dealer had said I got September production slot and will get delivery mid October. When will i start seeing status updates and photos from Ferrari?
My experience, and seemingly that of most others, is that the photos seem to come about 10-14 days after they are taken. My final production photo came two weeks after the car was completed. Take this as a guideline only as I read someone else got their actual car before the final photo showed up! Good luck!!
I received an email from my dealer stating that still no news and no news expected due to the Aug shut down. He did state that he is aware that their latest dealer app seems to be behind on updates. A few more weeks and it will be one year and my order is still just approved not started.
