Love that "around the corner" picture.

 

Turns out that because the dealership changed owners, the orders disappeared temporarily while they changed them to reflect the new corporate parent. Even the dealer said they couldn't see their orders in MODIS. My waiting list status/config showed up again in the app earlier this week.

And this morning, I got an email notification for the first assembly line photo. Emailed the dealer, and they said my car is status 60 now, and would guess ETA around end of April/beginning of May. Ordered in Oct 2020, initial production estimate was March/April but got moved up to Jan/Feb. As a first time Ferrari buyer, I think I must have gotten lucky in terms of timing and my local dealer's wait list vs. allocations for F8 coupes.

 

Congratulations! You will soon start getting tweaky as the worst, yet most exciting moment is about to come. The final wait time.

 

Thanks GT2! I’m excited but also not anxious (yet?) given that my timeline expectations were longer. I was initially looking at used 488s last summer when the dealer threw out the possibility of ordering an F8, and I think they were talking 12-18 months out at that time.

 

What a coincidence, so did I. Does it by any chance look lust like this

Oh trust me... Ferrari is very good about making sure you experience the "Ferrari Experience" to it's fullest potential. It is all about time.

 

Just got my second production picture. Should I not be surprised if the third picture comes in another day or two?

Probably can. Just have to ask your dealership. Just be ready to pay an premium. Better to get them like @Dicecal did.

 

Ex-factory, 100% no.

Then once your dealer has the car, the parts department will tell you that Pista wheels are not an approved fitment for F8, so it may depend how you ask the question.

"Can I purchase these wheels", versus "Can I purchase these wheels for my F8"
