    Curious if others have had a similar experience.

    A couple of weeks ago, I drove my bimmer to the Sherwood DEQ center for testing and registration renewal as I was in the neighborhood. 2 years ago, I visited Sunset near Hillsboro. Sunset assessed the Multnomah fee (where I live). Sherwood did not.

    Registration on my 360 was also due, so as a test, and to drive Red Hot a little more, I visited Sherwood yesterday. Again, no county fee.

    Don’t know if it was technician oversight or the county fee is charged based on testing center...

    Interesting... the Washington County fee is quite high (relatively), and Sunset always adds that. Of course, Sunset is in Washington County, and I live in Washington County, so it all makes sense.

    I did my Porsche Cayman using DEQToo, and in that case you pay online, so you get the county assessment based on where you live.
