I see it mentioned on here quite a bit. Its used because its anaerobic and can't plug oil galleys... Tried to find the loctite stuff, but everyone carries only the permatex 518 (same manufacturer from what I am told).

The only question I have, is how easy is it to dissassemble later? I ask because the instructions say to heat the part to 400 degrees and then pry apart to disassemble??? Is this stuff like superglue?

Was going to use it around the oil seal and waterpumt seal as those are metal to metal surfaces, with really tight tolerances...

But I don't want to "superglue" the parts in. The oil seal in particular, was awefully hard to remove...

    Thanks...

eBay is a possibility. I used the Loctite on many occasions and it has served me well.
