    here's a random one for the crew here :)

    my wife has been thinking of starting a web site as an on-the-side exercise. primarily a forum, dedicated to high-end chocolate lovers.

    anybody know of such things already extant? i've done some googling and haven't found anything obvious yet (though maybe i'm searching badly).

    she's been a huge chocolate nut all her life, and over the past year or so i've gotten into dark chocolate - but have lamented the lack of online resources that aren't vendor-specific or health-care specific (there's a lot of research and claims out there re: dark chocolate).

    the site would be dedicated to high-end milk chocolate and dark chocolate.

    any input appreciated!

    For the longest time I have always wanted to buy a massive 10lb and eat it in one day. They problem is, a 10lb bar from a good company can get pretty pricey. I want to do it but on the other hand, I could spend the money on something else. I'd be pretty much paying for weight gain and some fillings. Someday.

    Some chocolate is insane. I have seen $500.00 chocolates...I wonder if you can actually taste any difference.

    OMG...! A chocolate forum...?!? Where do I sign up...?!? I am a chocosaur among cavemen... Chocolate is one of life's simplest and most exquisite pleasures...

    Doody, aside from the fact that chocolate is a natural aphrodisiac, dark chocolate really is good for your health - in moderation, of course (a tiny factor I take pleasure in ignoring)... Please keep us abreast of your wife's venture as I would love to become a member of an online chocolate forum and chat with other addicts just like me... :)

    There are the following forums:

    Chocolate Review - which seems to be based out of the U.K., I don't know if that makes a difference.

    Topix.net's Chocolate Forum.

    Seventy Percent.

    Dilettante.

    Playing with Google will yield different sites - a majority of which are crap. But entering stuff like "chocolate lovers forum" or "online chocolate forum" will net a result or two; that's how I found these.
