Never! It will just be a lightly worked out Toyota power plant. I will still want one though.

Wow still waiting for the Esprit turbo update, guess that is never going to happen. Such a shame.

It’s replacing the Evora, Elise and Exige, I believe. Will have several variants.

Put on ICE: The Upcoming Lotus Emira Is a Final Goodbye to Gas (motortrend.com)

hope it works out for lotus but lack of open top means i will stick with my elise for now. 4 cyl turbo supposed to be only dct transmission while v6 might be same toyota from evora with either stick or conventional auto. priced from 60 to over $100k. will be interesting to see how it compares to c8/z06. didnt see anything on weight but i will be its over 3000lbs

I have little hope in it competing with the C8/Z06. The Jack LaLane fans will be happy because it's light, but it's still a L O T U S

Lotus has lived it's life being a car company that folks love to talk about...and NOT buy. Which explains why the company has been bought and sold SO many times.
It's great to be true to your vision unless your vision has proven, over decades, to be unsustainable.
