I’ve been told by the dealer that Tubi is NOW only making 5.7 with a kit to fit all 2.7 cars. not sure what the kit includes or how it all connects... Wish that was clear from the start. Will keep the group updated... Robb
What the? They have totally different setups as you know. Not sure how a kit will work unless it includes a totally different Y pipe to mate to the headers.
I don’t buy this for a second. June 22nd Tubi Instagram page is still posting manufactured 2.7 and 5.2 manifolds.
No clue yet. no desire to modify my setup to mirror a 5.2 even if they give me a new Y pipe. will update the group as info is revealed. Robb
Their current website today still shows two different headers: https://www.tubistyle.it/ferrari-f355-tubi-style-exhaust-system/?lang=en 01059411070C Ferrari F355 exhaust manifold w thermal insulation – Motronic 2.7 Obviously Different from 01059791070C Ferrari F355 exhaust manifold w thermal insulation – Motronic 5.2 Website does not mention a kit. popcorn at ready Robb
As an update, Tubi in Italy made a mistake. They are sending me the correct 2.7 headers... still waiting to receive them but in the meantime, I received the correct tubi headers for my 360. They are going on this week and then I have decided to list the 360 now that it’s back to oem to move toward a 12 cyl. Definitely a great drive with the stick. Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
Was in Ohio this week and stopped by Marshall Goldman but they are closed up with signs saying a visit is by appointment only... Disappointing but understandable. Robb
Someone will get a fine 360. You'll enjoy the 12 cylinder experience, Robb. You've got a lot of choices from the 550 on up. Barry
I like the 550 and 575 as a combo with the 355. They just seem to look perfect together. f12 is on my long term bucket list. Robb
Are you getting a 550? I’ve been on the fence btwn one and a 993tt for a year. Can’t make up my mind, or find the right car
I already have my stick with a 355 so I’m fine to go the F1 route with a 575 which is also less buy in. we’ll see. I think 993 are nice but not quite epic like a F-car. So I would go Try on a Ferrari. You can always find a 993 and not lose any money if you decide to switch at this point. you only live once. Why drive a boring car... Robb
I agree with Rob on the 993. They are fantastic, but I'd take a 550, especially for a 993 Turbo. For me, the AWD rules that out. I'd rather have a C2S....
The listing is up with more photos to be added on Saturday. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/2002-ferrari-360-modena-stick-shields-carbon-seats-rosso-barchetta-more.627240/ Robb
that is an impressively thorough ad, I would think a 360 w that much history and that condition would be worth more. Have they come down a bit or just reflection of mileage? 100% but I already own the 355 so looking for something a little less flashy. I live in NYC- can't street park the 355, don't want to leave it or drive it in the rain. Im sure I would feel the same way about a 550. I'm not set on the turbo- I've driven a few c4s's and always thought they were a bit underpowered. Im afraid I'll always regret not going the turbo route if I don't start there. The reality of it is if I find the right color combo/mileage/condition car Im indifferent c4s/c2s/turbo
I tried to price it fairly on the market. I enjoyed the car and some Great trips with my mom so mission accomplished. I understand some buyers can be gun shy because of mileage So I’m just looking to break even on this one. Im not a dealer with overhead. I definitely did this for fun. Robb
New engine stand for our F355’s almost ready per Dave in Buffalo’s blueprint design. That is some great stuff. Will be headed to powder coating soon for Rosso Barchetta to match with my lift. As usual giant thanks to my buddy @zstyle on here for implementation. Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
New Tow Vehicle... road tripping back from South Dakota. Getting work done along the way. Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
The correct Tubi headers for my 2.7 have arrived in AZ... and are being held up by FedEx customs. Will be good to get the car ready for our winter season! Robb
Almost done with tubi header install... Long process dealing with the company / dealer Robb Image Unavailable, Please Login
I had a narrow body C2 and thought it was a lot of fun. Downsides were no LSD, weird gear ratios (of almost all 993) and of course underpowered. There was a local C4S I test drove and to me, was not nearly as much fun as the narrow body C2. Maybe just a difference in cars but just didn't seem as tossable. I always wanted a 993 turbo but back when I bought my first F355, they were about the same price as an F355. Couldn't really justify paying what they go for now. Would do a 550 myself but quite a different car.
