Now I know 355 header fail. I also know that with 30k miles on mine there are no leaks and they look ok inside using a bore scope to inspect. I also have noted that pretty much every 355 I see in for a major service at a shop has OEM headers, as well as the majority of the cars I looked at before buying, and apparently yours as well. A couple of recent examples. Makes me wonder.

I love that 360! How'd you get out of your neighborhood or back in for that matter? Every time I tried to go somewhere Usery was shut down because of bad accidents. Both days too. It's crazy!

Getting a bit nervous with the largest fire in the US in my backyard. My main mountain drive for the cars to Payson is closed down running through the middle of the 100,000 acre fire. Just made the run twice last week.

We are 25 min drive away from the edge. So I hope the winds decrease and the firefighters can get it contained very soon.

My frequent photo spot is south of the white 87 highway marker near the lake 15 min from the house. The Fire seems to be moving very fast.

I hope all the nearby residents and responders will stay safe. If things get worse, we may start packing up.

So we were able to replace the rotors and pads on the brakes on the 360 today. Great stuff now!

About a 4 hour job. This also included swapping out the calipers from what we thought were yellow - back to an OEM black set so the car matched its build sheet and window sticker.

The funny news was that I knew the second to last owner of the car had the calipers painted yellow. Unfortunately it was a rattle can job that was absolutely half-ass.... they didn’t even take them off the car... which I didn’t realize. so I guess the good news is our restoration efforts on the car are all thumbs up now.

what an embarrassing state for any Ferrari...

So I put that behind me shaking my head. I’ll have to get those yellow calipers repainted properly so another owner can use them properly.

Removed the fender liners and engine compartment covers to get the rears done also. Cleaned them up. All new now.

The 360 is once again in great shape. S- line exhaust is epic.

I replaced the wheel centers on the starfish wheels and only have a few hours left til the car is back to concours shape.

Tubi headers going on the 360 in July. I’ll post some new photos of it soon after a new photo shoot.

Also working on refinishing one of my keys for the 360. I’m going to have the local guys match the new blank I bought and had cut. The new blank has a bit of sandy texture in the paint finish. The other has been worn down over time to be pretty smooth and has lots of dings.

Good job on the brakes! Much better in OE black. I'll never understand the the type of person that uses the Home Depot spray can method on their Ferrari calipers. Always makes me wonder what else was done that way. Not to imply anything towards your car just an in general on any car this kinda stuff is found on.

The guy that half-assed the caliper paint was a dealer and only owned it for a few months. So no time to mess anything else up. :D

No the fire has grown to 150k acres and only 7% contained.

hot and windy this time of year in the area.

only good news is it has been holding in our direction while it grows in other directions.

Good news is the fire which hit 187k acres is now 78% contained.

they opened the road back up to Payson. Took the 360 back out today. Wearing starfish wheels as I return it to how it left the factory.

My original (and quite worn) 360 key (right) has successfully been refinished to be a ringer for the new blank I had cut that was never used (left).

    I am pleased.

Oem Mirrors reinstalled and all door fasteners replaced with new hardware.

The garage needs a bit of cleaning out after the work on the cars this summer.

As usual giant thanks to my buddy @zstyle ...

Unfortunately the tubi factory sent me 5.2 headers even though I was clear 10 different times that I needed 2.7

    So I am delayed...

I will blame it on coronavirus... 2020 really sucks.
