    This was a car that the good doctor parked in his garage in 1955 and didn't come to light until 2008 or 2009 when he died. The car then went to auction. I asked a British Bugatti guy why it was "lost" all this time and he said it wasn't lost, that "we (the Bugatti club) knew where it was all the time." I think this shows the differance between Americans and Brits; I don't think American Bugatti enthusiasts (or car dealers) would be able to restrain themselves from going to see if it was still there as its value soared to 100 times its original price (when the Doctor bought it) , despite the Doctor turning down offers & visits and mail.
