I don't see too many around, I think JP has an F430, other than that, not much else. Are there any others around? It'd be nice to have an exotic meet sometime becuase it doesn't seem that there are any? (I don't have an exotic, I just like taking pictures of them) Kyle
There are a few around town. Most of the time you'll see them driving around in the Spring time and early to mid summer. This time of the year you won't see hardly any exotics driving around town.
A friend of my father's has 5. I am not sure what he has now but when I was in college he had a 328, which and I know he sold and a 512tr. I have not seen his cars since the early 90's but I do know his brother and was told that he currently has 5 Ferraris. I will be back there over Thanksgiving and I will see if I can find out what he is driving these days.
BTW, have you guys heard the rumor that there's an enzo in a storage garage somewhere in town? I've heard this rumor from several people.
Yes I have heard the rumor about the Enzo. Although its more of a I'll believe it when I see it kind of thing. As far as F-cars/exotics in Omaha they are out there although your probably not looking in the right places. Most of my encounters have been west of 132nd street. If I were you I would try looking there on a nice spring/fall day.
I'm west of 144th, I still don't see too many, I have not seen anything beyond a 355 or TR, but that sure doesn't mean they are not here. I know a 512 was sold out of Skyline Ranches a year ago at about this time. I was told there are about 10 in CB, but are major garage queens. What a shame. We could have a 'Ferrari Afficianado's Club' meeting, and there would be 30 of us - and no F-cars present. LOL
And even in the Spring you won't see many: there is still sand/small rocks on the road left over from winter/sand trucks, folks don't want pitted paint or a cracked windshield, which as happened to me twice on my DD.
I live on 144th and Center, lol Pretty much all of my exotic sightings are on Pacific, which I used to live on (120th and pacific) JP Morgan has an F430, might be the only one in town, I have to get my fix elsewhere!
There are at least two F430s in town. I've seen PJ driving his dark gray F430 spyder down Pacific and I've seen a Red F430 going west on Dodge near 96th St. I've also seen a bright red DB9 near Methodist Hospital quiet a few times.
Er let me rephrase what I said earlier. Most of my sightings have been west of 132nd. Doesn't former mayor Hal Daub have a yellow F430? Also didn't the owner of the Aston have a Red/Tan 1999 F355 Spyder? Although something tells me I might be wrong on both of these.
My insurance agent had a yellow diablo for some time. He traded it in for a z06 though. I've also heard about a red Diablo around town. As far as other Lamborghinis, I've seen an Orange Galardo a few times around Village Pointe along with a Black Galardo and a Dark Blue Galardo in Council Bluffs, IA of all places. These are the only Lambos i've seen in town though. Many more Ferraris.
i have a 348 ts red tan, today I put a 100 miles on it, if its nice i'm driving it, as far as the amount of ferrari's in omaha. i have seen the enzo and the other cars that the guy has. f40,288 gto. tr. 328 , mondial, and boxer. also there is a 1959 tr , its a pontoon nose car. i will follow with pics soon, i've been in it , it is awesome.. there's more ferraris in town than people think. i just sad they don't drive em, me if its nice, i'm in mine, bought mine with 12k on it, now it has 19k , absolutly love it
I've seen the 1959 or so, whatever year it is. Didn't you say 3-4 months ago you were gonna post pics ? Be nice to see them (pics) around an Omaha landmark..
I have seen a few ferrari's in town. I can recall a blue 355 spider with blue top, a red 355 spider which my friend and I raced in his NSX across town, and an orange gallardo. I've also seen a blue NSX (2001+) which was absolutely beautiful! Did anyone ever get to see the white carrera GT at the porsche dealer sometime last year (maybe 2 years ago)? Apparently it is/was owned by the owner of Woodhouse and his father owns one too. The CGT was white (only one in the country from what I was told).
