I’m guessing 1974 IAA? The 308 GT4’s have the Dino badge and the 246GTS’s have the late bumpers and parallel wipers.

1973. The IAA in Frankfurt took place every odd year and 1971 it was cancelled by the organizer for economical reasons.

OK, I'll bite. How did a refrigerator get dropped on that Dino? I've had mine for 36 years and have still not managed to do so.

Recounted by the previous owner - the fridge rolled out of the back of a removal van; as fridge magnets go, this has to be amongst the more exotic...

Anybody else remember the days of $8000 Dino 246 driver cars? Mine (02984) was only $10,600 in 1975 with some 17,000 miles.

    Hi Marcel,

Thank you for the clarification. I thought the Instagram poster was the holder of the copyright and it was their pictures, which is why I included that.

Do you have any idea about when this occurred?

What is with Bergamo and why is it such a big car-guy town?
    Exotic cars are prevalent there

    Nothing.
Just a city in northern Italy.
In the case of the "Superfinds" book this is a publication featuring photographs taken by Bergamo-resident former insurance broker and car broker Corrado Cupellini.
    Not more than that.
I don't think it is such a big car-guy town.

I don't have the date of this photo but it was posted on Facebook by Maranello Sales and shows two new 246 GTS models in Azzuro Met at Maranello Concessionaires (the UK importer) Egham garage. I think the car fully visible in the photo could be #05876 which started it's life as a dealer demonstrator and had a Blue Dino vinyl interior.
